Austin Día de Los Muertos Festival

Death drop or drop dead?

Sugar skulls, fireworks, Mexican imagery, and steamy dancing all combine to make this one Halloween weekend you'll never forget. If you can't make it to Mexico for Día de Los Muertos this year, then this Austin party is easily your best bet.

What: From the street fair to the Day of the Dead parade, this festival is a thorough celebration of both queer and Mexican culture. You'll find as many traditional dance performances as you will sweaty gay dance parties.

Where: The events happen all over Austin, but if you want to stay near the partying, then book a place over at South Congress Avenue,
