Austin Pride is a constantly growing event, with more people attending every year. Over 400,000 people have participated and spectated in the past as the three-hour Parade procession starts at the Texas State Capital Building and fills the streets. Unlike most other Parades, this one usually takes place late at night, after the Festival ends.
