PLAY DEAD! Protest Texas Fetal Burial Rules

Let's gather outside the Governor's Mansion and PLAY DEAD! This will be a silent, peaceful demonstration in which we lay on the ground and "play dead" to protest the new state rules requiring health care facilities that perform abortions to bury or cremate the fetal remains (http://nyti.ms/2gNd225). The date of this demonstration was chosen because it is the very day these new rules will go into effect. The cost of one burial or cremation can be as high as several thousand dollars, creating an unnecessary burden on women's healthcare facilities, as well as acting as a symbolic "burial" of a woman's right to bodily autonomy and a procedure free of stigma.
