Austin Museum Day

Austin Museum Partnership announces its annual Austin Museum Day, a free city-wide celebration of art, culture, history, music, nature, and science on Sunday, September 20, 2015. More than 35 museums in the greater Austin area will offer special programming, including guided tours, hands-on activities, and more, for visitors of all ages. Austin Museum Day is a collaboration among Austin’s most-loved cultural institutions that invites the public to experience and rediscover the dynamic, high-quality resources at museums in their communities. Last year, more than 28,000 Austinites visited their community cultural institutions on Austin Museum Day. For participating museums and event times and locations, visit AustinMuseumDay.org.
