25 years after "Paris Is Burning" and Madonna's "Vogue" made ballroom culture a global concern, Kiki is an ecstatic document of how the ball scene continues to provide escape for young LGBTQ people of color and influence the world today. Following a group of dancers in New York's nightlife underground, the documentary fluidly explores the ecstasy and agony of what it means to be a part of this scene.
Directed by Twiggy Pucci Garçon and Sara Jordenö.
