Even though it's located on the other side of the University as most of Austin's gay bars, Santa Rita is known as gay friendly.

Native Austinite here. This is by far one of my favorite new places in Austin. Amazing, gay friendly mexican restaurant. I believe it might even be gay owned? Mondays their fajitas for two is only $9.95 and delicious.
