Austin Caribbean Day

Caribbean Day Festival is a celebration of and for the diaspora of the Caribbean people and their communities. This event will be held on October 15th, in keeping with other Caribbean festival in the USA. There will be live entertainment (bands and individual artist) to entertain our guests. There will be the customary games of the island influence such as spades and chess and all fools. The event will provide the community at large to experience a true taste of island foods from Tony’s and other island vendors, along with arts and craft. Participant will be asked to Rep their Color (dress in traditional colors from the island of their heritage) giving non-island guest an opportunity to question and learn about the different Caribbean Islanders that is part of their community.
