2016 Capital City Black Film Festival

Back again, but bigger and better than ever! The 2016 Capital City Black Film Festival will now have more screens, more screenings, workshops, films, parties, and meet N greets with celebrity guests! A one-of-a-kind gem nestled right here in the Capital City brings together talented African Americans involved in media and the film industry, and provides emerging and established independent filmmakers from around the world an opportunity to showcase their work in "one of the best places to live and work as a moviemaker" (according to MovieMaker Magazine) – Austin, Texas. CCBFF presents programming that celebrates and showcases films that are written, directed or produced by African American filmmakers, films which prominently feature African American actors or films that address topics and issues relating to the Black community.
