On Firday, August 21, from 8pm - 12am stop by Rain on 4th and have a cocktail with Eric Paul Leue, Mr. LA Eagle and Mr. Los Angeles Leather 2014 and everyone's queer favorite alpha femme sex educator, Bettie Crocker. Rain will be offering up specialty PrEP cocktail and sign up to learn more about the Austin PrEP Access Project for prizes and giveaways!
On Saturday, August 22, from 11am - 3pm join us back at Rain on 4th for a very honest conversation about PrEP lead by Mr. Eric Paul Leue himself. APAP volunteers will also be on had to answer questions about Austin's only PrEP clinic and navigation program!
Eric Paul Leue, Mr. Eagle LA and Mr. Los Angeles Leather 2014 has dedicated his title year to teach about PrEP, the daily regimen that prevents HIV infections. Eric is the Director of Sexual Health and Advocacy for Kink.com and a Commissioner for the LA County Commission of HIV.
Bettie Crocker is a Queer, Alpha Femme who is always cooking up something kinky in the kitchen - or the bedroom. Bettie has focused her professional and academic careers on HIV prevention and sexual empowerment for HIV-positive individuals. When not spreading her love of PrEP, she can be found advocating for Transgender Healthcare Equality, studying the effects of sexual lubricant on rectal and vaginal epithelial cells, or watching a super nerdy documentary.
Austin PrEP Access Project (APAP) is dedicated to increasing awareness, access, and adherence to HIV prevention strategies by educating the community, providing medical care, and conducting public health research and advocacy.
