Hunter’s A Bright New Boise takes place in the break room of a Hobby Lobby in Boise, Idaho, where a man reconnects with the teenage son he hasn't seen since the boy was an infant. Savagely funny, deeply moving. The production stars Benjamin Summers (Tragedy: a tragedy), Rebecca Robinson ( Detroit, Circle Mirror Transformation), Nate Jackson (Port Authority, punk play), Chase Brewer (punk play), and Katie Kohler (The Back Pack). Ken Webster directs. The production features an award-winning design team--Lowell Bartholomee (Video), Robert S. Fisher (Sound), Don Day (Lighting), Mark Pickell (Set), and Cheryl Painter (Costumes). The show runs at 8:00 PM on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, September 25 - October 25, 2014. Thursdays are Pay What You Can Nights. For the first four weeks (September 25 - October 18) Friday and Saturday tickets are $20 ($18 for students, seniors, military, and Austin Creative Alliance members).
