A lifelong music lover, Alex Sanchez, more commonly known as DJ ALX, fuels his audience by combining deep and energetic styles of music from across the globe. From the start, this Miami-born DJ has been exposed to the unique flavors that can only be found in the South Florida music scene. ALX’s one-of-a-kind concoction of deep techno vibes mixed with enticing high energy grooves wraps his audience in impulse and vibrations from dusk to dawn.
From his start, entertaining local house parties and school dances, his style has matured from typical crowd-pleasing commercial house to the creative impassioned beats of techno. After being left with a friend’s DJ equipment for the weekend, his curiosity got the best of him as he fired up the speakers and sifted through tracks- he was hooked and the unique style of DJ ALX was born.
Hungry for more, ALX found inspiration from artists such as Adam Beyer, Victor Calderone, Marco Carola, Joseph Capriati, Richie Hawtin, and Carl Cox. He admits that, in the techno realm, the list of artists that influenced him may seem eclectic, however, ALX credits them with helping him find his niche where he combines the driving baselines of techno with the acoustics of funky tech house to craft his individual sound. There’s a unique feeling every time a deep baseline emerges, a tingle in his spine that cannot be explained and an energy in the room that is felt by all who are present. “When I’m in a flow I just ‘check-out’ into my own world and that’s where I want my audience to go”, said ALX.
ALX carries a crowd of loyal fans and supporters that follow him wherever he spins. He’s left a mark on smaller but well-known venues in Miami, such as the Electric Pickle and Tree House, to Orlando’s Senso Supperclub. His reputation for distinctive beats and style has pulled him up the South Florida nightlife ladder and has granted him access to perform at the world-renowned scenes of Club Space, Nikki Beach, and Mansion, in Miami.
Drawn to techno and tech house because of the limitless opportunity to express himself, ALX keeps an open ear for new ways to pepper his tracks and charm his listeners. Producing music allows him to unleash his true vision and insert a custom signature into his sets. “I love making new tracks because it lets me add something truly unique to the mix, something that screams ‘me’ because it was made from scratch,” said the DJ.
His ability to adapt to and capture hard-to-please crowds truly sets him apart from the rest. “It’s all about the crowd and the vibe,” says ALX. “Everything I do in music, every new track, every baseline, every beat, is done for the experience. Nothing gets me more pumped than seeing people captured by the sound.”

Christian is a committed ambassador to the techno scene of Austin Tx. and one of the hardest working DJ's in the city. It was in the late 90's house music era of San Francisco Christian found inspiration having spent countless hours in front of and behind the decks of DJ Dan, Charles Feelgood, Mark Farina, Jeno, Doc Martin, and members of the Wicked crew. Now a creator and purveyor of his own unique sound, a masterful cocktail of intellectual techno and groovy techno, Christian has set his sights most recently upon building the scene in his home city of Austin, Texas, a rapidly growing and evolving community of electronic music, by way of the establishment of www.electricavenueatx.com, a city event and information resource dedicated to the proliferation of this music. Never before has any American city seen such a blistering onset of passion for techno, minimal, house, tech house, and many related subgenres. As a result of hard work, Christian has been at the forefront of Austin's underground entertainment, splitting time in the dj booth with artists Josh Wink, Laura Jones, Drumcell, Umek (Ljubljana), Tim Green, Konrad Black (Berlin), Mark Knight (Toolroom, UK), Pezzner (Freerange, Om, Seattle), Dj Dan, DJ Heather, JT Donaldson (Om, SF), M.In (Frankfurt), Alland Byallo (Berlin/San Francisco) and Dustin Zahn, at major proprietary parties such as Kingdom Nightclub, Bas_Mrkt, The Dark Side, Abstrakt, and Werk It, as well as large-scale events like SXSW, Nocturnal, and AUM.Fest. His vision of cultivating and growing a thriving dance music scene has become a reality.
