Anonymously Gay's Photo Project: LOVE IS BLIND

GLBTQ members of the community and straight allies are openly called to participate in a no-cost highly structured photo shoot by renowned and published fine art photographer Molly Bedgood. All ages, shapes, orientations, genders, sizes welcome. Experienced and inexperienced - makes no difference. I can take a great picture of anyone, so just bring your bad self right on down. Shoot theme: One photo blindfolded, black no-pattern shirt, black background. One photo in full on color, doing whatever you like, sporting rainbow or "gay is ok" type attire or just whatever you feel comfortable in, while holding a plain 8.5x11 sheet of paper with whatever you like on it. Examples, "When I came out, my parents kicked me out of the house," or "Nobody at work knows I'm gay. Until now." For our hetero allies, the sign could read something like, "Gay marriage doesn't threaten mine," and you could hold hands during your shoot. A straight parent could hold a sign saying, "My son is gay and that's OK," etc. This is an awesome opportunity to send the GLBTQ world a message of support, or claim your own identity. You can decorate your sign with whatever words or art you like, anything really. Must be approved prior to shoot. Release form will also need to be signed prior to shoot and work is slated for widespread publication and art gallery shows. Shoots will be held in Austin, San Antonio, and nearby cities. May hold additional shoots in other states/countries in the future along the same theme. People are flying in solely to participate in this event. Invitations will only be issued once signed release forms are returned and your sign has been approved. Security will be on set. This is to ensure that we don't accidentally get any haters who make it through the screening process. It is a private shoot, but anyone is welcome to apply and join us! We just want to make sure there are no activists or protesters who show up to ruin the fun. Separate child and family shoots if kids want to make signs and participate will be held each day.
