QUEERBOMB 2013

QUEERBOMB returns for its 4th year of unleashing a gorgeous blast of LGBTQIA representation!! We will be gathering at Pine Street Station (the same location as last year, gang) for the official Rally spotlighting as many non profits and local organizations as we can fit in that yard, along with an amazing and inspired lineup of guest speakers. The Procession with travel from Pine Street Station to the downtown stretch of 6th Street and back. Get your best shoes and show ret to roll!! ***PLEASE TAKE NOTE QUEERBOMBERS!!!*** This year Queerbomb decided to focus on the heart of it's existence, which is the Rally and the Procession. As the Procession returns to Pine Street Station, there will not be an Official After Party waiting. Instead, we will gather in the yard and wind it up, wind it down, celebrate, and then move out to the city of Austin where a ton of gatherings, parties, covens, and cohorts will be anxiously awaiting your arrival to throw down. So much money and time was spent the last three years simply on the after party. There will always be a party for Queers to gather and celebrate, but our mission this year was to stay true to why Queerbomb came about...to challenge the structure of Pride celebrations here in Austin and around the world, to destroy corporate holds on the Queer Spirit, and to celebrate the spirit of Stonewall with a day of total inclusion of this damned fine community led by inspired speeches and a procession to rattle the very foundation of 6th street and beyond.
