Save the Date: A Night for HIV/AIDS

**************SAVE THE DATE: A NIGHT FOR HIV/AIDS *************
Are you doing your part to prevent HIV/AIDS and spread awareness this year? Be a part of the cause by joining UT Austin’s Institute for Community Development, FACE AIDS, and Students in Partnership with Ghanaian Development as we launch our first annual “A Night for HIV/AIDS” fundraiser and official RED RIBBON SOCIAL EVENT hosted by William T. “Tim” Bailey III.
Each semester students in the Global Project Development course take on a unique community development challenge as a service learning project with an emphasis on communities abroad as well in our “own back yards”. The course is taught by Dr. Dorie Gilbert, Director, Institute for Community Development: US and Abroad.
The Fall 2012 cohort is focusing on HIV/AIDS awareness and outreach, culminating in a World AIDS Day fundraiser.
