Lisa Marshall- Singer/ songwriter (Headliner) at 10:00pm
The Harvey Milk Mash Up is a benefit concert consisting of various types of music and bands, all fundraising for GetEQUAL TX. As a non-violent civil disobedience organization, GetEQUAL TX empowers the LGBT community, and other oppressed groups to take bold action to demand full legal and social equality. GetEQUAL TX is currently working in collaboration with Austin Community College to produce the 3rd Annual Harvey Milk Day Conference, which will take place the proceeding day. The Harvey Milk Day Conference is a two-day educational forum consisting of group trainings and workshops pertaining to social justice and civil rights issues. The conference hosts students, educators, and community organizers from all over Texas, acting as a platform for networking, discussion, and empowerment for all of the participants.
